Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARION MATILDA STEVENS On Saturday, September 25, 2004 at the Boyne Lodge in Carman, Manitoba, Marion passed away at the age of 86 years. Marion is survived by her sons Ken (Barbara) of Carman, and Don (Debbie) of Moose Jaw, Sask. and her grandchildren; Teri, Kristen (Chase), Chris, Ryan and special twin sister Mabel (Mel) Morrison of Carman. She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 2002. Born Marion Duncan on December 20, 1917, in Humbolt Saskatchewan, she was a devoted wife and mother. Marion graduated from Portage General Hospital School of Nursing in May of 1942. She married Bill Stevens on November 10, 1944 in the Carman United Church, and spent several years living in different towns while Bill was employed with CPR. After living in Virden, MB. Killaley, Sask., Lenore, MB. La Riviere, MB. and Morden, MB. they retired to Carman. Funeral service will be held from the Carman United Church in Carman on Wednesday, September 29, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Harold Kenyon officiating. Interment will take place in Rosewood Memorial Gardens, Brandon. Memorial donations may be made to the Boyne Lodge Van Replacement Fund, in care of the Boyne Lodge, Box 1644, Carman, R0G 0J0. The family would like to thank the nursing staff, aids and all concerned at the Boyne Lodge who gave mom such loving care while she lived there.
